QikAnalytix ("the app", "we", "us") is a desktop application published by Abibin Academy. This policy explains what we do and — more importantly — do not do with your data.

1. Your analytics data never leaves your machine

All data you load into QikAnalytix — files, database query results, calculated columns, dashboards — is processed entirely on your own computer. We do not receive it, store it, or transmit it to any server. Closing the app clears it from memory. There is no cloud sync and no telemetry of your dataset contents.

2. What we do collect

License activation — when you activate a license, the app sends your license key, a one-way hardware fingerprint (an irreversible SHA-256 hash of basic machine attributes — never your files or personal folders), and the app version to our licensing server. This is used solely to validate the license and bind it to your device.
Download form — if you request a download from our website, we collect the name, work email, company and use-case you provide, to send you the installer and license information.
Optional AI assistant (VizBOT) — VizBOT works fully offline by default. If you add your own Anthropic API key, only aggregated summaries and column names are sent to Anthropic to interpret your request — never individual data rows. This is your key and your direct relationship with Anthropic; see Anthropic's privacy policy.

3. What we never collect

The contents of your files, spreadsheets, or database rows.
Your database credentials — these are stored encrypted on your machine (Windows DPAPI) and used only for the session; they are never sent to us.
Usage analytics of what you chart, filter, or explore.

4. How we use the information we collect

To deliver and validate your license, provide support, send product and release updates you asked for, and improve the product. We do not sell or rent your information.

5. Storage and retention

License and lead records are stored on our server [hosted on Amazon Web Services, ap-south-1 (Mumbai)]. We retain them for as long as your license is active and as required for support and accounting, then delete on request.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold (your email, company, license record). Contact contact@abibinacademy.com.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
